Binks Futures

Established in 2021 through a founding gift from the Binks Trust, the Binks Hub has spent five years championing creative, participatory approaches to research that place collaboration, lived experience and community partnership at their heart.

As the Hub completes its founding programme of work, its legacy will continue through Binks Futures: a programme of activities hosted by Outwith that builds on the relationships, ideas and opportunities created through the Hub’s research, teaching and knowledge exchange activities. Through events, projects, learning opportunities and resources, Binks Futures will sustain and grow the community of practice developed by the Hub.

The Hub’s Co-Directors will continue to develop, teach and apply creative and participatory research methods through their academic roles, while maintaining relationships with community organisations, artists and public service partners, and pursuing new opportunities for collaborative research with community benefit. The Hub’s research outputs, resources and learning materials will also remain available online.
