Co-creating research for human flourishing

We’re working with communities to think, create, and research together. Using art, crafts, and other creative activities, we’re investigating how to tackle the issues that matter most to people, driving real-world, positive change.

At the University of Edinburgh

We’re running a seminar series, curating useful resources for researchers, organising a training programme, facilitating a postgraduate network, and running a blog on artistic, participatory research methods.

We’re in the very early stages of setting up the Binks Hub, so the best way to keep up to date on how to get involved is to sign up for our mailing list.

Who are we?

We’re a partnership of individuals, organisations, artists, and academic researchers. Our team of researchers at the University of Edinburgh are pulling together the information you’ll find on this website – we have broad experience across participatory research into the areas of social work, social policy, nursing, gender studies, and mental health. We’re very grateful for funding from the Binks Trust, which has made this research hub possible.
